Say What?

Do you ever hear a term at Faith Promise and wonder what it means? What is "Satellite 1" anyway? Here is a glossary of terms we use here at FPC to help clear things up.

101, 201, 301, 401
These core classes are offered to help you connect to our church body and ministries. The process is designed so it can be completed in one month. 101 is held on the first Sunday of the month at 5:00 pm. 201, 301, and 401 are held on the second, third and fourth Sundays respectively at 10:00 am in Room 222.
Catalyst
HSM's weekly worship service and small groups. Designed for students in 9th-12th grade, Catalyst takes place on Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:45.
Encounter Retreat
This retreat is designed to take you out of your normal surroundings so you can take a good look at your life, especially your past. It's an intensive 24-hour retreat that will help you move forward in your walk with Christ by identifying things that may have been holding you back - even things you weren't aware of. The Encounter Retreat is held several times a year through the Small Group Ministry.
First Wednesday
Wednesday night worship service held on the first Wednesday of every month, beginning at 6:30. First Wednesday includes extra music, new member introductions, and the Lord's Supper.

"Info: Faith Promise". Smiling folks in iFP t-shirts whose purpose and passion is to provide a memorable first impression to our guests by assisting them or by answering questions about Faith Promise and its ministries.

MSM
"Middle School Ministry"
Remix
MSM's weekly worship service and small groups. Designed for students in 6th-8th grade, Remix takes place on Wednesday nights from 6:00-8:05 in Satellite 1.
School of Leaders
A 12-week leadership training course for people interested in learning the basics of Christianity and/or becoming small group leaders.
Small Groups
Faith Promise's chosen method of connecting people in meaningful relationships that grow in fellowship, discipleship, ministry, worship and evangelism. Adult small groups meet every week in homes across the Knoxville area.
